Two brothers who ran a Dallas degree mill that awarded a master's degree to a cat were ordered to pay more than $100,000 in fines this week, Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott announced Thursday.

Craig Barton Poe of Frisco agreed to pay a $10,000 civil penalty this week for offering deceptive degree programs, and he will pay several thousand more in installments, Abbott said in a news release.
