In the first comprehensive survey of consumer attitudes towards online education, Eduventures found that 77% of prospective college students would consider enrolling in an online distance education program.

The study identified convenience, flexibility, affordability, and accelerated degree completion as the key factors that drive consumer interest in online programs.
