Through Ingenium, CENTURY 21® System Will Manage Skills Acquired Via Online Courses, Virtual Classrooms and Traditional Classroom Training
BELLEVUE, WA, April 16, 2001 - Century 21 Real Estate Corporation, franchisor of the largest residential real estate sales organization in the world, has selected Click2learn (NASDAQ: CLKS) to provide a new learning and program management infrastructure to foster professional development of more than 100,000 real estate professionals worldwide.

Click2learn's Corporate Solutions Group will provide Ingenium, the leading skills and competency-based learning management system, to Century 21 Real Estate Corporation as a scaleable, robust platform from which to deliver all methods of learning. This will provide a single point of management for all the company's real estate training programs - including instructor-led classes, Centra's (NASDAQ: CTRA) virtual classroom technology, as well as personalized online learning content and courses.

Click2learn's solution enables CENTURY 21® System members to choose courses, track their progress, and select specialized learning paths. Using Ingenium, managers can analyze an employee's skills, identify gaps, and assign specific courses, and certify the agent's understanding of those capabilities required for career advancement.

"The CENTURY 21 Learning SystemSM takes our professional development program to an entirely new level, enabling us to develop our agents' and brokers' skills in less time and at less cost, while at the same time improving the effectiveness of our learning initiatives. Clearly, the program will be instrumental to our successful growth," said George Selix, Vice President and Chief Learning Officer for Century 21 Real Estate Corporation.

"Click2learn's learning management architecture provides us with a backbone for managing all our learning methods - from traditional classes, to virtual classrooms, to online courses. At the same time, we gain important new abilities to make training more powerful, by customizing learning for individuals and enlisting our employees and managers in the professional development process."

"This learning initiative is a prime example of how e-Learning can be leveraged with a widely dispersed audience with limited time. With Click2learn's Ingenium, Century 21 Real Estate Corporation will be able to significantly improve on their training system by integrating online content, virtual classrooms, and traditional instructor-led training. At the same time, they'll reduce costs, improving the learning experience and better track results," said Kevin Oakes, President and CEO of Click2learn. "Ultimately, we are enabling the company to manage their knowledge base as they would any other critical business asset. With this new initiative, Century 21 Real Estate Corporation is making knowledge a tangible asset."
