Berkeley's
Intro to Computers - IDS110!
If you need to brush up on your basic computer skills check
this class out. You'll need a high-speed connection, at least
a cable modem or DSL to benefit from the lectures. We suggest
you start with Lecture 2 so you won't have to listen to all
the administrative information given to students taking the
course on campus.

Web
Teacher

http://www.webteacher.org
webTeacher
is a comprehensive, interactive, 80-hour, self-guided and self-paced
tutorial, available to teachers free over the Internet. Created
by teachers, the service helps educators master the Internet
and integrate new technologies into student learning. Teachers
can learn to navigate the 'Net, link to educational web sites,
develop lesson plans, create their own home pages, find tips
on Internet safety, and more. From the National Cable Television
Association and TECH Corps.
I
thought this would also be useful because it is a good example
of how to build instruction on the web. webTeacher is an interactive
guide and lets you put your new knowledge to work immediately
through their online exercises and activities.
Web66

http://web66.coled.umn.edu/
Web66 is designed
to facilitate the introduction of World Wide Web technology
into K-12 schools. Goals are "to help K12 educators learn how
to set up their own Internet servers, to link K12 web servers
and the educators and students at those schools, and to help
K12 educators find and use K12 appropriate resources on the
web."
